C-3PO não terminado com Anakin Skywalker
Sempre junto com seu parceiro R2-D2, C-3PO é o único (ao lado de R2) personagem a aparecer nos 6 filmes interpretado pelo mesmo ator(Anthony Daniels).
C-3PO foi construído por Anakin Skywalker a partir de todo tipo de sucata para ajudar a mãe.
No começo,ele era simples,com todos os seus mecanismos expostos.Alguns anos depois,a mãe de Anakin,Shmi,lhe deu placas de revestimento para protegê-lo das tempestades de areia.
10 anos depois de ser ativo,C-3PO reencontra Anakin e R2-D2.Vai com eles para o planeta Geonosis, onde C-3PO acidentalmente cai numa fábrica de dróides, onde é decapitado e tem sua cabeça fundida num dróide de batalha(e a cabeça de um dróide no seu corpo). R2-D2 volta as peças pro lugar.
Depois, R2-D2 e C-3PO são as únicas testemunhas do casamento de Anakin e Padmé Amidala.
C-3PO passa a trabalhar para Padmé (que lhe dá novo revestimento, dourado) nas missões diplomáticas.
3 anos depois, C-3PO tem sua memória apagada o que explica o que se segue...
